05/08/12  Dirk A. Cornelius, 45, Guston, KY, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Failure to Appear on the Original Charge of Non-Support.  He remains in custody.

05/09/12  Andrea D. Barber, 22, Bourbon, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.  She was released on bond.

05/10/12  Daniel T. Turner, 63, Steelville, was arrested on the charge of Sex Offender Within Five-hundred Feet of a Public Park.  A warrant was issued and he remains in custody.

05/10/12  Christian C.S. Heidemann, 17, Leasburg, was arrested on the charges of Domestic Assault Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child First Degree.  He was released after twenty-four hours with warrants being applied for.

05/11/12  David M. McLemore, Sr., 50, Cuba, was arrested on Crawford County warrants for the  charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Appear on a Felony and on a Cuba municipal warrant for the charge of Failure to Appear.  He remains in custody.

05/11/12  Crystal D. Richards, 27, Sullivan, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Driver/Front Passenger Failure to Wear Properly Adjusted/Fastened Seatbelt.  She was released on bond.

05/12/11  Vanessa E. Morgan, 31, Jefferson City, was arrested on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  A warrant was issued and she was released on bond.

05/12/12  Byron W. Sights, 38, Rolla, was arrested on the charge of Domestic Assault.  He was released after twenty-four hours with warrant being applied for.

05/13/12  Garry L. Callahan, 58, Cuba, was arrested on the charges of Sexual Misconduct Third Degree and Trespass First Degree.  Warrants have been applied for and he remains in custody at the time of this report.

04/30/12  Isaiah J. Toth, 25, Steelville, was arrested on a DeSoto municipal warrant for the charge of Domestic Assault Third Degree.  He was released to DeSoto Police Department.

04/30/12  Rodney L. Lewis, 37, Bourbon, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for the charge of Driver/Front Seat Passenger Failure to Wear Properly Adjusted/Fastened Seatbelt.  He was released on bond.

04/30/12  Jennifer L. Brozovich, 51, Sullivan, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Driving While Intoxicated.  The Franklin County Circuit Court recalled the warrant and she was released from custody.

04/30/12  Johnny L. Bardot, 44, Cuba, was arrested on the charge of Receiving Stolen Property.  A warrant was issued and he was released on bond.

05/02/12  Vincent K. Smith, 18, Cuba, was arrested on the charge of Domestic Assault Second Degree. A warrant was issued and he was released on bond.

05/02/12  Jacqueline S. Strange, 31, Bourbon, was arrested on a Washington municipal warrant for the charge of Theft/Stealing.  She was released to Washington Police Department.

05/03/12  Danielle M. Hahn, 21, St. Louis, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for the charge of Driving While Suspended and on a Jefferson County warrant for the charge of Driving While Suspended.  She remains in custody.

05/03/12  Chad S. Bates, 23, Bourbon, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Driving While Revoked.  He was released on bond.

05/03/12  Michael R. Abshier, II, 26, St. Ann, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Tampering First Degree.  He remains in custody.

05/03/12  Jessica L. Chalcraft, 31, Cuba, was arrested on the charge of Domestic Assault Third Degree.  She was released after twenty-four hours with warrant being applied for.

05/04/12  Vernon W. Bugbee, 27, Steelville, was arrested on the charge of Felon in Possession of a Weapon.  He was released after twenty-four hours with warrant being applied for.

05/05/12  Alicia M. K. Pankey, 17, Rolla, was arrested on the charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child Firs Degree.  She was released with warrant being applied for.

05/05/12  Christopher B. Gilliland, 36, Republic, was arrested on the Crawford County charge of Domestic Assault Third Degree and on a Greene County warrant for the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.   Warrant had been applied for on the Crawford County charge and she remains in custody on the Greene County warrant.

05/05/12  Matthew R. Pearson, 22, Cuba, was arrested on the charges of Child Molestation Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child First Degree.  Warrants were issued and he was released on bond.

05/05/12  James D. Hansel, 31, Sullivan, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He remains in custody.

05/06/12  Scott E. Radford, 27, Bourbon, was arrested on the charge of Burglary First Degree.  A warrant was issued and he remains in custody.

05/06/12  Brennan  A. Boehm, 29, Sullivan, was arrested on the charge of Domestic Assault Third Degree.  He remains in custody at the time of this report.

04/23/12  John R. Schamel, 49, Ferguson, was arrested on warrants for the charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Stealing a Motor Vehicle.  He remains in custody.

04/23/12  Tiphani J. Davis, 31, St. Louis, was arrested on the charge of Distribute/Deliver/Manufacture

/Produce a Controlled Substance.  A warrant was issued and she remains in custody.

04/23/12  Scott A. Holt, 31, St. Louis, was arrested on the charge of Distribute/Deliver/Manufacture/ Produce a Controlled Substance.  A warrant was issued and he remains in custody.

04/23/12  Paul J. Murta, 52, Leasburg, was arrested on the charge of Distribute/Deliver/Manufacture/ Produce a Controlled Substance.  A warrant was issued and he was released on bond.

04/25/12  Tammy A. Daniel, 43, Sullivan, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Passing Bad Checks.  She was released on bond.

04/25/12  David M. Proffer, 49, Cuba, was arrested on warrants for the charges of Non-Support and Passing Bad Checks.  He remains in custody.

04/25/12  Taylor M. Balling, 18, Steelville, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Hindering Prosecution.  She was released on bond.

04/25/12  Jeremy D. Wilson, 28, Bowling Green, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He remains in custody.

04/26/12  Bobby G. Wood, 40, Cuba, was arrested on the charge of Manufacture/Produce or Attempt to Manufacture/Produce a Controlled Substance.  A warrant was issued and he remains in custody.

04/26/12  David G. Shettles, 47, Bourbon, was arrested on warrants for the charges of Assault Second Degree and Violation of an Exparte/Full Order of Protection.  He remains in custody.

04/26/12  Charles D. Leisler, 25, Steelville, was arrested on the charge of Trespass First Degree.  A warrant was issued and he was released on bond.

04/26/12  Amy J. Stokes, 34, Licking, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for the charge of Driving While Revoked, on an O’Fallon municipal warrant for the charge of Driving While Suspended, on a St. Louis County warrant for the charge of Stealing and a State of Texas warrant.  She remains in custody.

Crawford County Sheriff’s Report:  04/23 – 29/2012

04/26/12  Christine B. Mason, 56, Bourbon, was arrested on the charge of Assault Second Degree.  She was released after twenty-four hours with warrant being applied for.

04/26/12  Catherine M. Bosek, 29, Bourbon, was arrested on the charge of Domestic Assault Third Degree.  She was released after twenty-four hours with warrant being applied for.

04/27/12  Joshua S. Braman, 29, homeless, was arrested on warrants for the charges of No Valid Operator’s License and Tampering First Degree.  He remains in custody.

04/28/12  Kendall L. Huffman, Jr., 25, Leasburg, was arrested on two Gasconade County warrants, both for the charge of Failure to Appear.  He remains in custody.

04/29/12  James L. Franklin, 32, Sullivan, was arrested on the charge of Violation of an Exparte/Full Order of Protection.  He remains in custody at the time of this report.

     As the detective was making an exit from the park he noticed a male subject enter the park.  The detective knew this man from previous contacts and knew that he was a registered sex offender.  He followed the man into the park and made a traffic stop on the vehicle just as it passed the swimming pool.  When questioned, the man stated that he was there to pick up his son and granddaughter. 

     The man identified as Daniel Turner registered as a sex offender on 03/27/12 and is prohibited from being within 500 feet of a public park.  He was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail for booking.  A Probable Cause Statement form was completed and taken to the Prosecuter’s Office for review.

     On 05/11/12, warrant number 12-CFARW-523 was issued for Daniel Thomas Turner of Steelville Mo., Charged with 2236400 Sex Offender Present/Loiter W/I 500 feet Park W/Playground/Pool, a class D Felony.  Bond was set at five thousand dollars cash.  Mr. Turner remains in custody in lieu of bond.

     He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

     The male subject was questioned and gave permission to search the house.  The investigation and search of the house revealed numerous items for the poduction of methamphetamine.  Additional items were also recovered from a vehicle located at the residence.  The Lake Area Drug Task Force (L.A.N.E.G.), responded and seized the drug paraphernalia and packaged it for evidence.

Warrant 12CF-CR00461 was issued for Bobby Glenn Wood of Cuba Missouri for Man/Prod or Attempt to Manf/Prod W/Child or W/In 2000 ft. of school, college, school bus, 195.211 RSMO a Class A Felony.  Bond was set at $10,000.00 cash only.

     Mr. Wood remains in custody at the Crawford County Jail in lieu of bond.  He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

     Upon arrival law enforcement encountered a male and female within a garage area of the property and the home owner came out of the house.  Deputies saw another female subject looking out of a window of the home.  They asked the home owner to go into the house with them to have the female step outside.  Once inside the home it was discovered the female had fled the home through an open window.  When asked the girls name that had fled, the home owner denied knowing her name.

     Law enforcement saw items associated with the production of methamphetamine in plain sight within the home and garage area and asked the home owner for permission to search the home and out buildings.  When the home owner refused to answer, a search warrant was applied for.

     A search warrant was issued and during the search numerous drug paraphernalia items were located within the home and garage area.  Members of the drug task force seized and packaged the items for evidence.  The two male subjects and one female were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail.

     On 04/24/12, warrants for the three occupants were obtained and are listed as follows.  Warrant 12-CFARW-485 was issued for Paul J. Murta of Leasburg MO., Dist/Del/Manf/Produce or Attempt to or Possess W/Intent To Dist/Del/Manf/Produce a Controlled Substance 195.211 RSMO, a Class B Felony.  Bond was set at $10,000.00 cash only.

Warrant 12-CFARW-488, was issued for Tiphani Heather Davis of Leasburg Mo., Dist/Del/Manf/Produce or Attempt to or Possess W/Intent to Dist/Del/Manf/Produce a Controlled Substance 195.211 RSMO, a Class B Felony.  Bond was set at $10,000.00 cash only.

Warrant 12-CFARW-486, was issued for Scott Anthony Holt of St. Louis MO., Dist/Del/Manf/Produce or Attempt to or Possess W/Intent to Dist/Del/Manf/Produce a Controlled Substance 195.211 RSMO, a Class B Felony.  Bond was set at $10,000.00 cash only.

     All parties arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  As of 04/27/12, Davies and Holt remain in custody at the Crawford County Jail in Lieu of bond and Murta was released on an O.R. Bond.
