Deputies took a statement from the victim and began gathering evidence at the scene.  Two suspects were immediately identified and the search began as to their whereabouts.  Once a location of the home where at least one of the men lived was located, deputies and detectives from the Sheriff's Office responded to that residence.  Once at the residence some of the stolen property was located in plain view.

     A search warrant for the residence was obtained and deputies responded to execute the warrant.  During  the search of the residence all of the stolen property from the initial call from Davisville was recovered along with other property believed to be stolen including a weapon that had been reported stolen from Crawford County in 1995.

     Two men were taken into custody and admitted to the crime during the interview process.  On 12/16/12, warrants were issued on the two men and they are as follows.

     Warrant 12CF-CR00158 was issued for Jason R. Hansen of Steelville Mo. for Burglary 2nd Degree 569.170 RSMO, a class C felony.  Bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or 10%.

     Warrant 12CF-CR00157 was issued for Ted A. Christie Jr. of Viburnum Mo. for Burglary 2nd Degree 569.170 RSMO, a class C felony.  Bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or 10%.

Mr. Hansen remains in custody in lieu of bond and Mr. Christie has been released after posting a 10% bond.
